Pre-requisite

Eclipse

Notice : Acceleo is built on Eclipse and as such you'll need a JVM compatible with your Eclipse version, since Eclipse 3.3 you'll need Java 5.

Operating Systems

Acceleo is built with the Java language and is integrated to eclipse. Therefore, it can work under several OS :
  • Windows (XP, 2000, 98)
  • Linux (GTK or Motif)
  • MacOS

Today, only Windows and GNU/Linux compatibility is assured. The other platforms will be officially supported in future versions.

Hardware configuration

Acceleo requires a classical J2EE developer configuration:
  • CPU > 1Ghz
  • 512 MB Ram
  • 6 MB for installation on hard drive
To optimize generation times, memory may be the main factor of improvement.
